What is included in the all-inclusive package?
The Panama Yeshiva Week package includes seven nights at the Renaissance Panama City Hotel, three fresh kosher meals daily, Shabbat programming and group minyanim, and supervised activities for kids and teens. It also includes scheduled guided tours such as the Panama Canal, Monkey Island, Emberá Village, and Beach Day, with program transportation, entrance fees, and round-trip transfers between Tocumen Airport (PTY) and the hotel; flights are an optional add-on.

What is the kosher supervision standard for Panama Yeshiva Week?
All program meals follow Glatt Kosher, Pas Yisroel, and Cholov Yisroel standards under the rabbinical supervision of the Strictly Kosher Organization (SKO) and Rabbi Aharon Chein. A dedicated on-site mashgiach oversees meal preparations, with separate meat and dairy service.

How much does Panama Yeshiva Week cost?
Pricing is personalized based on room type, number of adults, teenagers, and children, single or double occupancy, and flight options. Special rates are available for children and infants.
Is there a single occupancy option?
Yes. Singles are welcome, and single occupancy rates are available with a supplement. Many singles attend our trips, so you will have plenty of company.
What's NOT included that we should budget for?

What are the payment terms?
Your reservation is confirmed once we accept your booking, receive the required guest information, and process the required payment. Payment arrangements are provided with your quote or booking confirmation.
- A 20% deposit is due at the time of booking to secure your reservation.
- Interim payment deadline: at least 50% of your total booking payment must be completed by November 1, 2026.
- Final payment date: your final balance is due by December 1, 2026.
- Payment methods include credit card, Zelle, or ACH.
- All payments made toward your reservation are non-refundable.
- Late or missed payments may result in release of rooms, cancellation of optional add-ons, or cancellation of your reservation.

What's your cancellation policy?
All payments made toward your reservation are non-refundable, regardless of when you cancel. Reducing your party size, downgrading your room, or missing meals, tours, or activities does not entitle you to a refund. To cancel, contact our team in writing; cancellations take effect when we receive and acknowledge your request. Changes are subject to availability and any applicable price difference or fee.

Can I book for just part of the week?
We can sometimes accommodate custom dates or partial attendance. Contact us to discuss your specific needs.
Are there group discounts for multiple families?
Group discounts may be available for families traveling together. Contact us for a personalized written quote; discounts and rooms are subject to availability and the terms of your quote.
Which meals exactly are included?
All meals are included — breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day, plus all Shabbat meals.
All meals are prepared under strict kosher supervision.
What if we'd like to dine out on some evenings?
Dinner is included every night, but you are free to dine out at your own expense. We can help with restaurant reservations, subject to availability. Unused meals are non-refundable and there is no dinner opt-out credit.
Is everything strictly kosher?
Yes. All included program meals are certified by SKO under the supervision of Rabbi Aharon Chein, with strict Orthodox rabbinical standards throughout the program.

Can you accommodate food allergies?
Please tell us about allergies, dietary restrictions, and medical needs before booking so we can determine what accommodations may be possible. Share the details with our team in advance and confirm any agreed arrangements in writing.
Are all tours and activities included?
Your package includes the core program tours and activities listed in your written quote or booking confirmation, such as the Panama Canal, Monkey Island, Beach Day, and Emberá Village. Optional add-on activities and services outside your package may cost extra. Tours, schedules, and program details may change for operational needs, weather, safety, partner availability, or circumstances beyond our control.
Are airport transfers included?
Yes. Round-trip transfers between Tocumen Airport (PTY) and the hotel are included, whether you book flights through us or independently.
What about tips and gratuities?
Tips are not included but customary. We will share suggested guidance before the trip and may collect group tips for guides and drivers to simplify the process.
What if we miss a tour, activity, meal, or departure?
Guests are responsible for arriving on time for all scheduled tours, activities, meals, and departures. The program is not responsible for services missed because a guest does not follow the communicated schedule. Missed tours, activities, and meals are non-refundable. What happens if a natural disaster disrupts a tour or activity?
Tours and activities may be delayed, modified, or cancelled due to natural disasters, including earthquakes and floods, or other events that make participation unsafe or prevent scheduled services from operating. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Panama Yeshiva Week is not responsible for delays, changes, or cancellations caused by natural disasters or other events beyond our reasonable control. We may substitute a reasonably comparable option where practical. See our terms for events beyond our control.
Tell me about the flight deals.
Guests can request nonstop round-trip Copa group flights from JFK from $599 per guest for Sunday overnight flights, or $750 per guest for daytime flights in either program week, including a checked bag, subject to availability and written confirmation. Airfare is included only when expressly stated in your package or invoice.
Can we book without flights?
Yes. Many guests use miles, arrive early, or fly from other cities. Airport transfers are included regardless. We will provide recommended arrival times.
What about flights from other cities?
We can help arrange flights from many cities, not just New York. Send us your departure city and we will help find the best route and rate.
Do we need travel and medical insurance?
We strongly recommend travel insurance to help protect your trip against unforeseen cancellations. By booking and paying, each guest confirms that they and everyone in their party carry, or will obtain before travel, valid travel and medical insurance covering medical issues, injuries, emergencies, and evacuation for the full trip. Guests who travel without coverage do so at their own risk and expense. Review your insurer's coverage, deadlines, and exclusions carefully and read our insurance terms.
What room types are available?
Room options at the Renaissance Panama City include deluxe rooms and suites, with different occupancy options based on your family size and preferences. All rooms include hotel amenities, WiFi, daily housekeeping, and comfortable bedding.
Can we get connecting rooms?
Yes, connecting rooms may be available. Request this when getting your quote. If connecting rooms are unavailable, we will do our best to keep rooms on the same floor and close together.
Is the pool or gym mixed or separate?
The pool and fitness center are mixed gender and open to hotel guests.
I'm a Marriott Bonvoy member — how does that work with this trip?
Great question. This stay is booked under our exclusive group program rate — the rate that makes the all-inclusive kosher experience possible, from gourmet meals to full programming to our negotiated room block at the Renaissance. Because it's a group rate, guests will not earn Marriott Bonvoy points on their stay. You're still staying at a 5-star Marriott property; the program simply lives outside the Bonvoy points system.
Are singles welcome? Will I be alone?
Singles are absolutely welcome. The program includes families, couples, and singles, with a friendly atmosphere and plenty of shared meals, tours, and free time to connect.
Is there special programming for singles?
Singles naturally connect through shared dining, tour seating, WhatsApp coordination, and free time activities. The program is inclusive rather than separated.
What are the age categories for pricing?
We offer family-friendly pricing with reduced rates for children and teenagers. Infants under 2 are $200 each, plus a $150 lap-infant fare if you add group flights. Get a personalized quote for exact pricing based on your family.
Are activities suitable for young children?
Most activities are designed for a broad age range. Beach day, Monkey Island, and hotel pool time are especially family-friendly. Some cultural and rainforest activities may be better for children who can comfortably handle longer outings.
Is babysitting available?
Babysitting may be arranged upon request. Contact us in advance so we can help coordinate availability.
Is this fully Shomer Shabbat?
Yes. There are no tours on Shabbat, Shabbat meals are prepared in advance, and the hotel is experienced with Orthodox Jewish groups.

Can you accommodate special medical or accessibility needs?
Please contact us before booking with details of any medical, mobility, or accessibility needs so we can determine what accommodations may be possible. Guests are responsible for their own health, fitness to travel, medications, and medical care and costs during the trip.
Is Panama safe?
The program is based at the Renaissance Panama City, with group tours coordinated by professional guides. Travel and group activities carry risks, so guests should review current travel advisories, Panama entry requirements, airline rules, and their own travel readiness before departure. Follow the communicated schedules and reasonable safety instructions from staff and tour operators. Review our assumption of risk before booking.
What's the weather like?
January is dry season in Panama, with warm weather, sunshine, and low rain chances. Pack light clothing, sunscreen, comfortable shoes, swimwear, and a light jacket for air-conditioned spaces.
Can we extend our stay?
Yes. Many guests add days before or after the program. We can help arrange extra hotel nights or side trips based on availability.
