Which excursions are included, and what does each tour cover?
The core Panama Yeshiva Week excursions include the Panama Canal's Miraflores Locks, Monkey Island on Gatún Lake, an Emberá Indigenous Village visit, and a Pacific beach day. Private coaches, applicable park and entrance fees, and guides are included for scheduled program excursions. Optional add-on tours cost extra. The order of outings depends on your arrival track, and schedules may change for weather or operational needs; your written booking confirmation sets out your included tours.
Are there excursions on Shabbat?
No excursions take place during Shabbat. We stay at the Renaissance Panama City Hotel for a full Shabbat program with inspiring tefillot, lavish communal meals, and youth programming, with time to relax together. The Amador Causeway outing shown on Saturday's itinerary takes place only after Shabbat ends and Havdalah.
How are kosher meals handled on tour days?
Freshly prepared boxed kosher lunches and refreshments are provided for touring days, under the program's Strictly Kosher Organization (SKO) supervision with Rabbi Aharon Chein. Some outings feature a scheduled meal experience, such as the beach-day kosher BBQ. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included each day; please share allergies or dietary needs before booking so arrangements can be confirmed.
