Acceptance Of These Terms

By using the Panama Yeshiva Week website, requesting a quote, communicating with our team, submitting booking information, or making a payment, you agree to these terms and any booking-specific terms provided to you in writing.

If a written quote, invoice, registration form, payment link, or booking confirmation includes terms that are more specific than this page, those booking-specific terms apply to that reservation.

Quotes, Pricing, And Availability

Program pricing depends on room type, party size, dates, package selections, add-ons, taxes, fees, and current availability. Website content is intended to help you understand the program, but it is not a guaranteed offer of availability or price.

  • Quotes are valid only for the period stated in the quote or until availability changes.
  • Room categories, tours, schedules, entertainers, speakers, menus, and other program details may change based on operational needs, weather, partner availability, safety considerations, or circumstances outside our control.
  • Photos, sample itineraries, and descriptions are representative and may not show the exact room, meal, tour, vehicle, or setup assigned to your party.

Booking And Payment

A reservation is not confirmed until we accept your booking, required guest information is received, and the required deposit or payment has been processed. Payment schedules, accepted methods, package inclusions, and cancellation terms are provided during quote or booking confirmation.

  • Deposits may be non-refundable or subject to specific written conditions.
  • Late or missed payments may result in release of rooms, cancellation of optional add-ons, or cancellation of your reservation.
  • Guests are responsible for reviewing invoices, guest names, room requests, dates, and package selections for accuracy.
  • Bank fees, card fees, currency conversion costs, chargeback fees, or third-party processing charges may be the guest's responsibility where applicable.

Do not rely on a verbal conversation alone for payment or cancellation terms. Ask for written confirmation before paying if anything is unclear.

Changes, Cancellations, And Refunds

Because Panama Yeshiva Week requires hotel rooms, food service, transportation, staffing, programming, and third-party commitments, cancellations and changes may carry costs. Your booking confirmation controls the cancellation and refund terms for your reservation.

  • Requests to change guest count, names, room type, dates, tours, or services are subject to availability and any applicable price difference or fee.
  • Refund eligibility depends on the written terms provided at booking, supplier rules, timing, and whether costs have already been committed.
  • No-shows, late arrivals, early departures, unused meals, unused tours, and missed program activities may not be refundable.
  • We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance that fits your needs, including medical, cancellation, interruption, baggage, and emergency coverage.

For full details on deposits, payment deadlines, changes, and refunds, see our Cancellation & Refund Policy.

Guest Travel Responsibilities

Guests are responsible for their own travel readiness unless a specific service is included in writing. This includes passports, visas or entry requirements, health requirements, airline rules, luggage, travel insurance, medications, allergies, mobility needs, and personal expenses.

  • Airfare is included only when expressly stated in your package or invoice.
  • Guests should review passport validity, Panama entry requirements, airline schedules, and travel advisories before departure.
  • Parents or guardians are responsible for minors in their party throughout the trip.
  • Guests must tell us in advance about dietary, medical, accessibility, or other important needs so we can determine what accommodations may be possible.

Program Participation

Panama Yeshiva Week is a hosted travel program with communal meals, tours, transportation, Shabbat programming, entertainment, and optional activities. Guests agree to act respectfully toward other guests, staff, hotel personnel, guides, vendors, and local communities.

  • Guests must follow reasonable safety instructions, hotel rules, tour operator rules, transportation schedules, and local laws.
  • Activities may involve walking, water, vehicles, boats, uneven terrain, weather exposure, or other inherent travel risks. Participation is voluntary.
  • We may remove a guest from an activity or program component if conduct creates a safety risk, disrupts the experience, violates rules, or harms other guests or partners.
  • Kashrut, minyanim, Shabbat arrangements, and food service details are planned carefully, but operational details may vary by venue, staffing, supply, timing, and rabbinic or logistical guidance.

Assumption Of Risk, Release, And Insurance

Travel and group programming carry inherent risks that no organizer can fully eliminate. By booking and participating in Panama Yeshiva Week, each guest — and the parent or guardian of any minor in their party — voluntarily accepts these risks and agrees to the following.

  • Assumption of risk. Activities such as touring, walking on uneven terrain, water activities, boat and vehicle transportation, excursions, sports, and similar experiences involve risks including illness, injury, accident, property loss, and, in rare cases, death. Participation in any activity is voluntary, and guests assume these risks for themselves and everyone in their party.
  • Release and waiver. To the fullest extent permitted by law, guests release and hold harmless Panama Yeshiva Week, Go Beyond, Fresh Kosher, and their owners, staff, volunteers, and partners from claims for personal injury, illness, accident, emotional distress, property damage, or loss arising from participation in the program or its activities — except to the extent caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.
  • Medical care and costs. Guests are responsible for their own health, fitness to travel, medications, and any medical care they need during the trip, including the cost of treatment, hospitalization, emergency evacuation, or repatriation.
  • Insurance confirmation. By booking and paying, each guest confirms that they — and everyone in their party — carry, or will obtain before travel, valid travel and medical insurance that covers medical issues, injuries, emergencies, and evacuation for the full duration of the trip. Guests who travel without such coverage do so at their own risk and expense.
  • Indemnification. Guests are responsible for any loss, damage, or claim they or members of their party cause to other guests, staff, partners, vendors, or property.

This section does not limit any rights that cannot be waived under applicable law. If any part of this release is found unenforceable, the remaining parts still apply.

Website Use And Content

Website content is provided for general informational and booking inquiry purposes. You may not misuse the website, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with forms or systems, scrape content at scale, submit false information, or use the site for unlawful activity.

All text, images, branding, page layouts, and other materials are owned by or licensed to Panama Yeshiva Week, Go Beyond, Fresh Kosher, or their respective partners. You may not copy or reuse them for commercial purposes without permission.

Third Parties, Force Majeure, And Limitations

Travel involves many providers and variables outside our direct control, including hotels, airlines, payment processors, tour operators, transportation companies, government authorities, weather, illness, labor disruptions, road conditions, security events, and other unexpected circumstances.

  • We are not responsible for losses or delays caused by third-party providers, guest decisions, government action, weather, force majeure events, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
  • When a program element must be changed, we may substitute a reasonably comparable option where practical.
  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount paid directly to us for the affected service, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

Governing Law And Dispute Resolution

These terms, your booking, and any dispute arising from the program, your reservation, or your use of this website are governed by the laws of the Republic of Panama, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

  • The courts located in Panama City, Republic of Panama, have jurisdiction over any dispute, and you agree to that venue — except where applicable law gives you a non-waivable right to bring a claim elsewhere.
  • Before starting any formal proceeding, please contact us so we can try to resolve the matter directly and in good faith.
  • If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.

Privacy

Your use of this site and our handling of personal information are also governed by our Privacy Policy. By submitting information to us, you agree that we may use it to respond to your inquiry, coordinate your booking, operate the program, and communicate with relevant service providers as described in that policy.
