Are the rooms prepared for Shabbat?
Yes. We make the rooms at the Renaissance Panama City Hotel Shabbat friendly for the Panama Yeshiva Week program, including arranging room access for Shabbat. Our team will explain the room-key arrangements before Shabbat. Please share any specific room-access needs when booking so we can prepare for your stay.
Can we request a low floor and use the stairs on Shabbat?
Yes. Low-floor room options and stairwell access are available at the Renaissance Panama City Hotel. Request a low floor when booking, subject to room availability. Our team will explain stair routes and elevator logistics before Shabbat. Please discuss any mobility needs with us before booking so we can plan suitable arrangements.
Who supervises the kosher food, and what standards are followed?
All Panama Yeshiva Week program meals are certified by the Strictly Kosher Organization (SKO) under the supervision of Rabbi Aharon Chein. The program follows Glatt Kosher, Pas Yisroel, and Cholov Yisroel standards, with separate meat and dairy kitchens and an on-site mashgiach overseeing meal preparation.
What amenities are available, and where is the hotel?
The Renaissance Panama City Hotel is in Panama City's financial district, in Bella Vista. Guests can enjoy an outdoor pool and fitness center between outings, with WiFi and daily housekeeping included in the program. The pool and fitness center are mixed gender and shared with other hotel guests.
